Let’s Learn Turkish – Turkish Language Teaching Network Project

Under the decision of the Interministerial Joint Culture Commission (BAOKK), the Republic of Türkiye’s Ministry of National Education – General Directorate of Higher Education and Overseas Education – is implementing the "Let’s Learn Turkish – Turkish Language Teaching Network Project", aiming to systematize and sustain Turkish language teaching across Serbia. The project organizes Turkish language courses in cities such as Niš, Novi Pazar, Tutin, Kragujevac, Novi Sad, and Belgrade, fostering interest in the Turkish language and culture.

The vision of the project is to promote Turkish as a widely preferred language worldwide, contributing to intercultural understanding and emphasizing its identity as the language of love, peace, and tolerance. Through modern teaching methods, the project supports learners’ linguistic and cultural development and strengthens the cultural ties between Serbia and Türkiye.

Implemented in five phases—from preparation and registration to instruction, evaluation, and dissemination—the project offers 72-hour level-based courses (A1–B2), focusing holistically on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Expected outcomes include digital content platforms, an online registration system, standardized teaching materials, certified language courses, and cultural activities. In the short term, the goal is to reach hundreds of learners; in the long term, the project aims to establish Turkish as a second foreign language in Serbia.

“Let’s Learn Turkish” is more than a language education project—it is a bridge of cultural closeness and a beacon of international friendship that shines toward the future.
